ATLANTA, GEORGIA: Sheree is a familiar face on Bravo, having been part of the original 'RHOA' cast that viewers couldn't get enough of. When she first appeared on the show, she was navigating a divorce from former Atlanta Falcons player Bob Whitfield while raising her children. However, a lot has changed since 2008, and Shereé has had her fair share of ups and downs with the series. Recently, she took to Instagram to share a nostalgic photo of the OG 'RHOA' cast, featuring NeNe Leakes, Lisa Wu, Sheree Whitfield, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann.

Kandi Burruss entered the fray in Season 2 as a friend of Lisa Wu's. After meeting Ashley 'AJ' Jewell, Kandi faced the challenge of juggling motherhood, planning her dream wedding, and launching a solo career and new album. She eventually became the highest-paid cast member, with a reported salary of $2.3 million per episode. However, after Shereé shared the throwback photo, fans were quick to flood the comments section, accusing Kandi of joining the show solely for financial gain.

Sheree's Instagram post featuring the original 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' cast, including NeNe Leakes, Lisa Wu, Sheree Whitfield, and Kim Zolciak-Biermann, brought back a wave of nostalgia. The photo showcased the ladies in their early days on the show, before the arrival of Kandi Burruss in Season 2. Sheree's caption on the post acknowledged the differences between the cast members but also recognized their impact on the reality TV landscape. She wrote, "We may not agree on everything, but we definitely agree that we changed reality TV forever. #TBT to #RHOA press runs."

This post expresses Sheree's appreciation for the OG cast and how they paved the way for the show's continued success. The original cast members each brought a unique personality and perspective to the show, making for a compelling and entertaining viewing experience. Sheree's Instagram post served as a reminder of the show's roots and how the OG cast members left an indelible mark on reality TV history.

'Y’all made Kandi chime in when she saw that money coming in'

The absence of Kandi Burruss in the nostalgic photo shared by Sheree Whitfield did not go unnoticed by fans, who were quick to point out that Kandi was not part of the original cast. Some fans even went as far as to accuse Kandi of joining the show solely for financial gain, suggesting that her absence from the OG cast photo was a reflection of her perceived lack of authenticity. One said, "And u all still under @kandi tax bracket" while another said, "Kandi came, made all your money and poof," while another asked, "How much did Kandi make from the show??". A comment read, "The cast before they were made broke by kandi", A user wrote "Y'all got @kandi whenever convenient but look what she did lol" while another said, "'Only here for the money': Kandi to the world."

Where is the OG cast of 'RHOA' now?

NeNe Leakes: NeNe Leakes was an original cast member of the show when it premiered in 2008. She took a break from the show for seasons 8 and 9 but returned for seasons 10, 11, and 12. However, after being on and off the show for 12 years, NeNe left the franchise in 2020. Since leaving the show, NeNe has faced personal challenges, dealing with loss and death. But on the professional front, NeNe will be shifting gears from reality TV to morning news next month. She will be joining Atlanta's WXIA-TV's 11Alive as a newscaster.

Sheree Whitfield: Sheree has been making headlines recently for her personal and professional ventures. Reports suggest that Sheree is currently dating Martell Holt, a 40-year-old businessman and reality star from 'Love & Marriage Huntsville'. In addition to her personal life, Sheree has been working on her own brand, She by Sheree. The brand was launched in the Season 14 finale of 'Real Housewives of Atlanta,' where she unveiled her new fashion line.

Lisa Wu: After departing from 'RHOA,' Lisa, a former backup dancer, has been dedicated to her acting career, securing notable roles in films like 'The Internship', 'London Mitchell's Christmas', and 'Pinch'. She has also appeared on TV One's reality series 'Hollywood Divas' for three seasons, showcasing her talents beyond dancing. Apart from her professional accomplishments, Lisa's personal life has undergone significant changes since leaving the series. Though she's kept much of her personal life private, she's been vocal about her struggles with motherhood and raising her two sons as a single mother. Despite the challenges, Lisa remains resilient and determined to balance her career and personal life.

Kim Zolciak-Biermann: Since viewers last saw her on screen, Kim has remained active in her business ventures. She has continued working with her eldest daughters, Brielle and Ariana, on their successful cruelty-free makeup line, KAB Cosmetics. Additionally, Kim has been focused on her brand, Kashmere Kollections, which specializes in skin and hair care products. In an exciting development, Kim will be returning to the upcoming season 15 of RHOA for a cameo appearance, delighting fans who have missed her presence on the show.

DeShawn Snow: DeShawn was a part of the original cast of Real Housewives of Atlanta when it premiered in 2008. Unfortunately, she only lasted for one season and hasn't returned to the franchise since then. Although her reality TV stint was brief, her personal life has been far from drama-free. In 2010, DeShawn ended her 12-year marriage with Eric Snow, a former NBA player, with whom she shares three sons. Since leaving the show, DeShawn has pursued a career as a children's chapter book author. In 2012, she released her first book titled 'Lil Shawnee', which focuses on the adventures of a young girl who loves sports. Despite not being in the spotlight as much as some of her former castmates, DeShawn remains committed to her passions and has found success in her writing career.

Kandi Burruss: Following her departure from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi shifted her focus toward her long-standing plans. In the spring of 2022, Kandi, along with her husband Todd Tucker, took on a new role as producer for the Broadway revival of 'The Piano Lesson'. The production featured an all-star cast including Samuel L Jackson, John David Washington, and Danielle Brooks. In a major achievement, the revival became the highest-grossing August Wilson play in history, as reported by Broadway World on January 3. Kandi's venture into producing proved to be a successful move and showcased her talents beyond reality TV.
