'Replay: The Moment': Meet Mi Yeon, Hwi Young, Kim Min-chul and rest of the cast of musical K-drama
There are many new Korean dramas that are headed our way. After the excellent year, 2020 has been for the genre and dramas continuing on from 2020 into 2021 excelling as well, we have our hopes high for this year. Dramas like 'True Beauty' may be coming to an end soon, but not to worry. We feel a new Korean web drama, 'Replay: The Moment When It Starts Again' will just be the perfect one to move on to.
The upcoming web drama will also star some very well-known names from the K-pop world and will also be the debut for G(I)-DLE's MiYeon, who plays the female lead. 'Replay: The Moment' is quite music-centered, so we cannot wait to see how it will play out. Read on to know more about the cast of the drama and the characters they play.
Mi Yeon
Mi Yeon, born Choi Mi-yeon is the main vocalist of the South Korean girl group (G)I-DLE and voiced Ahri in the virtual K-pop girl group K/DA. She makes her acting debut with 'Replay: The Moment'. Mi Yeon plays Yoo Ha-young, the goddess vocalist of the band who has no filter.
Kim Min-chul
Kim Min-chul is a South Korean actor who has appeared in both film and television dramas, including 'Melting Me Softly' and 'Single & Ready to Mingle'. He plays the role of the shy keyboardist, Gong Chan-young. He looks 2% lacking sometimes, but he has something special for sure!
Hwi Young
Hwi Young, born Kim Young-kyin, was part of the trainee boy dance group, FNC NEO School (NEOZ). He debuted in 2016 as the rapper and dancer of the male Kpop group SF9. Young plays the role of the cool guitarist of the band, Lee Ji-hoon. He is a tsundere -- a cold, nitpicky character -- who is only interested in Ha young.
Choi Ji-soo
Choi Ji-soo is a South Korean actress known for her roles in '300-Year-Old Class of 2020', 'Hanging On', 'Farming Academy' Season 2, and 'Our Baseball'. She plays the role of Im Seo-eun, the bassist of the band. She is called 'Leader Imseo'. She's very lively and a huge K-Pop fan.
Marco
Marco, born Lee Hyung-geun, is a South Korean actor and singer, part of the male K-pop group, Hot Blood Youth (HBY). He makes his acting debut in 'Replay: The Moment' and plays the role of Sim Tae -young, the drummer of the band. He is childish, especially with Seo-eun.
'Replay: The Moment' also stars Kwon Hyuk -soo as Lee In-ho, a sound engineer.
'Replay: The Moment' will be available to watch on YouTube from Tuesday, January 26, at 7 pm Korean Standard Time (Wednesday, January 27, at 5 am ET) on the YouTube channel for Like That. New episodes will be released on Tuesdays and Fridays in Korea (Wednesdays and Saturdays in the US).
