JUST LIKE US! 'The Last of Us' star Pedro Pascal exudes cool picking up laundry in East Village
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Every so often, we find incidents when we truly realize that celebrities and Hollywood moguls are quite relatable and just like us! One such incident in recent times was ‘The Last of Us’ actor Pedro Pascal stepping out of a laundromat after picking up his clothes.
The 47-year-old actor, who is now in the news for his hit show ‘The Last of Us,’ was all smiles as he stepped out to run his errands on Saturday, February 11. For his low-key outing, Pascal kept his look casual as he stepped out in a purple t-shirt and blue jeans, which he paired with a black zipped-up puffer jacket. He accessorized his look with a pair of black sunglasses and white sneakers and casually walked by with his earphones plugged into his ear, deep in conversation with someone over the phone.

Pascal’s performance as Joel in the recent apocalypse drama was well-received by critics and audiences alike. His chemistry with young co-star Bella Ramsey (who had also starred in ‘Game of Thrones’ as the brave Lady Mormont) was lauded as the pair brought the beloved characters to life on the screen. The director had gone on to praise the actors, saying, “I thought they were good, I thought they were really good actors. But I didn’t know that they were extraordinary.” The show follows Pascal’s character as he escorts a teenager to safety across a post-apocalyptic world.
Deleted scenes from 'The Last of Us'
Jeremy Webb, who had directed two episodes of the show, had recently opened up about the scenes that did not make the final cut. "What I loved about it is the levity that Craig [Mazin] and Neil [Druckmann] give the story and how much humour there is with the pun book that runs all the way through the episodes.”
He had then gone on to add, "It all really comes from the game, but it’s been enhanced and made even funnier. It’s quite interesting, if you talk about stuff that was cut out - during their montage of their trip across the States, there were a few little bits in episode 4 where they would be refilling cars and chatting and she would be telling him more jokes and stuff."
Webb said, "We improvised quite a lot of stuff that didn’t make it to the cut. But just to see Pedro and Bella off-script inhabiting those characters was a delightful thing to watch. The ones that are in the final episodes were scripted mostly - they go off-piste a little bit. But those improvisations [that were cut] were completely spontaneous. Maybe one day people will get to see them!" according to RadioTimes
