Rappers King Los and JID were the two names trending on social media after fans wondered who is the better MC. The subject even drew the attention of Los himself who wrote, "Hahahahaha I’m the trending topic right now. Let that sink in..." Regardless of their comparative skills, the topic has been debatable enough that fan comments are still pouring in.

Many King Los fans feel the subject shouldn't even be open for debate. We'll list out their tweets first. "Lmao King Los would murder 90% of these industry rappers. Stop the disrespect," said a fan. One fan wrote, "Need to listen to some King Los then reconsider your position. You are headed for a hard L with no breaks on," in reply to a JID supporter.

"We put both individuals in a room A cappella or with a beat no time to prepare(writing) and have a freestyle battle King Los wins with ease! There’s a difference between lyricist and Artist," said a fan while another shared, "King Los is great at rapping freestyles. I think people don't talk about him much because his studio album wasn't on the level of his freestyles."

JID fans aren't as easily convinced as the aforementioned fans. "King Los amazing but let’s not act like JID a minor rapper," said a fan. On JID's Twitter, one fan wrote, "Bruh they really think King Los can rap with you? WTF wrong with these people smh."

Another fan said, "King Los Is A Demon, But Let Me Just Say This, JID Can Go Toe To Toe With An-E-Baah-DEE! PERIOT." "JID wins easily, King Los arguably a better writer and lyricist but he can’t transition that to making good music like JID does," added another fan.

If we're going by trending numbers, it looks like King Los has the majority votes on Twitter. There are a lot of factors that come into play when comparing who is a better rapper, and as seen by many of the above-such comments, King Los is favored as the better freestyler while JID creates harder music. We can also take a look at their discography and their respective accolades.

King Los has one studio album, the debut 'God, Money, War', which released in 2015 and debuted at No 68 on the Billboard 200 chart with 8,300 equivalent album units. The LP sold 7,400 copies in its first week, with the remainder of the units reflecting the album's streaming activity and track sales. Apart from that, Los has a handful of singles, accounting both as a lead artiste and featured artiste.

Move on to JID and the rapper has a lot more material: mixtapes, EPs, collaborative albums and more. JID's debut LP 'The Never Story' debuted at No. 197 on the US Billboard 200 while his sophomore iteration 'DiCaprio 2' sold 16,970 album-equivalent units in the first week, debuting at No 41 on the US Billboard 200 chart.
