TI teases mesmerizing visuals for 'Hypno' music video with Rahky, fans are 'feeling that '90s beat vibe'
Rapper TI (aka Tip) has a new official music video dropping today. 'Hypno', a track from his new album 'The L.I.B.R.A.' and featuring Rahky, is getting it's own visual, according to a recent announcement posted by Tip on social media. 'Hypno' is scheduled to release on October 22 at 12:00 p.m. EST.
The 'No Mediocre' rapper shared a teaser clip of the upcoming music video on Instagram during the late hours of October 21, saying, "Hypno Video Tomorrow‼️ @hypewilliams Who Ready?" The visual for 'Hypno' certainly strikes hypnotic as well as alluring, with black-and-white mesmerizing swirls, flashes, and silhouettes of Tip, between scenes of the rapper and Rahky donning several fashionable attire.
The teaser also shares a generous chunk of the track. Over a gritty hip-hop beat, the rapper spits a continuous flow of lyrics from the first verse, "I got immaculate vision, no cataracts in my pupils. Don't understand my decisions so I don't need your approval. I'm a motherfuckin' villain just like you see in the movie. But I'm still a motherfuckin' hero, stay lowkey like casino," Check out the 'Hypno' music video teaser here.
Fans on Twitter are loving the new visuals and track. "Yasssss baby. Me likey," said a fan while another wrote, "Still got it (fire emojis)."
One fan shared of the song's vibe, "Feeling that 90s beat vibe." One fan noted, "I love how this one flow that beat hit just right," as another fan described it as "Dats hot." The 'Hypno' music video is directed by Hype Williams, who has worked for some of the biggest names in hip-hop music. Williams worked on Beyoncé's 'Drunk In Love' music video featuring Jay-Z, in 2013. In 2005, he directed Kanye West's 'Gold Digger' video featuring Jamie Foxx. Other artists/groups have included Wu-Tang Clan, The Notorious B.I.G., Snoop Dogg, DMX, LL Cool J, and many more.
As mentioned above, the song 'Hypno' features on TI's new studio LP 'The L.I.B.R.A.' which arrived on October 16. The title of the album, which references TI's zodiac sign, is also an acronym for "Legend Is Back Running Atlanta". Its release was preceded by two singles, 'Ring,' which featured Young Thug, and 'Pardon', featuring Lil Baby.
