Raegan Revord opens up about PTSD and panic attacks after car accident during 'Young Sheldon' filming
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actress Raegan Revord, known for her role as Missy in the TV show "Young Sheldon," recently opened up about a traumatic incident that left her with PTSD and panic attacks. In an Instagram post, Revord shared that while filming a challenging episode of the show, she was involved in a car accident with her mother, where they were hit by a driver under the influence.
She revealed that she had full-blown panic attacks and PTSD for weeks after the accident. Despite the difficulty, Revord praised the show's cast and crew for being supportive and prioritizing her well-being during the filming process.

'My mom and I were t-boned by a driver driving under the influence'
"On the way to work my mom and I were t-boned by a driver driving under the influence. The irony here is I’m pretty much in a car for this entire episode, but you know what they say, “you gotta get back on the saddle” She wrote. "They checked in with me along the way and never made me feel like finishing filming was a priority, that my well-being came first," she wrote. The episode in question featured Missy stealing her father's truck as per FOX News and going on the run with her friend Paige, played by actress McKenna Grace. Revord shared behind-the-scenes photos from the set as well as images from the accident, including one of several deployed airbags in a Tesla.

"When I read the script I remember being so excited to film it and being even more excited to film it with my friend (who was also instrumental in getting me through some of those tough times – love you Kenny)," she wrote of Grace. "With that said, I hope you enjoy tonight’s episode."
On social media, her post received positive feedback with many appreciating the show for helping Revord get through the tough time. In a comment Mckenna Grace praised the crew for taking the best care of her, she wrote, "Getting to see how much your show cared for you as an actor AND a human being was really really special🥺So proud of you for fighting through this. Love you ❤️Thelma and Louise!!!." Actor Iain Armitage wrote," Best crew! And so glad you are alright!!." A user commented, "So glad you are ok. What a terrifying experience."
