SCARSDALE, NEW YORK: In a tragic incident, five children between the ages of five and seventeen, all related to each other, died in a car accident that occurred on Sunday, March 19, on New York Highway. All of the victims were from Connecticut. The only survivor of the accident is a 9-year-old boy who was in the back seat of a Nissan Rogue.

What happened on the New York highway?

It is reported that the 16-year-old boy was driving his group of siblings and cousins home from the mall. While doing so, he lost control of his Nissan Rogue on Hutchinson River Parkway just past the exit for Mamaroneck Road in Westchester County. After he lost control, the car struck a tree, causing the SUV to burst into flames. Matt Conway, superintendent of schools in Derby, Connecticut, said, "It's the unimaginable. Having to now make arrangements for five of your children to be buried is a very difficult thing for anyone - one child, never mind five, that you're going to have to now make arrangements for," according to the Mirror.

What is the response from the parents?
