Quavo’s homerun at MLB All-Star game stuns fans: 'Good at every damn thing’
Quavo might be one of the top-selling hip-hop artistes of our times but there is more to him than what meets the eye. The Migos member was most recently spotted showing off his skills at the MLB Celebrity Softball Game at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado and he left the Internet speechless with his impressive skills on the ground.
The hip-hop heavyweight then quickly grabbed a spot on the trending list as fans could not stop praising his sporting skills. Quavo not only showed his skills with the bat but also stunned the audience with the ball. Apart from the 30-year-old rapper, celebrities like Jojo Siwa, ‘Avengers’ Falcon Anthony Mackie, and renowned DJ Steve Aoki among a few others also made their appearances at the 2021 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game.

In a clip widely shared on Twitter, we could see the ‘Congratulations’ hitmaker hitting a homerun whereas, in another clip, he struck out the superstar of Seattle Seahawks DK Metcalf. Though he also got trolled a bit when singer-songwriter Jojo Siwa hit a double-off during the game but that could not really overshadow the form the rapper showed at the game. Social media users were left baffled at how Quavo can be 'good at everything.'
For the unversed, the iconic rapper, who earlier went with the name Quavious Marshall, used to play as a quarterback in his high school. Shedding light on his spectacular skills on the ground, his former coach John Thompson told Bleacher Report, “If you looked at him back then, he had some height on him but he didn't have a lot of meat on his bones he was a competitor, and a good football player—even led the county in passing yards [and set game records for completions] that year. I don't think people expected that from him." Quavo also made headlines when he played a round of basketball hoops with Shaq O’Neal’s son Shareef O’Neal back in 2017.

The next one posted, “Why is @QuavoStuntin addicted to being the star at all celebrity sporting events? Is he in the most athletic celebrity out there or does he just care the most?” One user tweeted, “Most people who are musically inclined are almost always a jack of all trades. They’re usually like amazing dancers, top tier at sports & instruments. Like Bieber, quavo, Chris brown, jcole, etc. I’m jealous.” One trolled the rapper for apparently taking back the Bentley he gifted to ex-flame Saweetie, “One thing about Quavo he gone do everything except letting you keep the gifts.” Whereas, another concluded, “Quavo striking out Metcalf was pretty dope.”
