Priyanka Chopra reveals why real-life husband Nick Jonas appears in her latest rom-com 'Love Again'
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Love Again', a new romantic comedy-drama starring Priyanka Chopra and Sam Heughan, opened in theaters in the United States on Friday. As fans get their first glimpse at the rom-com, they'll notice that Chopra's real-life husband, Nick Jonas, makes an appearance as a late addition to the cast.
The actress plays a woman who is just getting back into the dating scene after losing someone she cared about. But, before she meets Heughen, who portrays Rob Burns, her character Mira Ray must endure one of those horrible dates with Jonas.

The actress said in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that Mira's date was planned to lick her face, but owing to the current COVID-19 pandemic at the time of the shoot, the actor would have had to wait in quarantine before filming his scene.
'He had to quarantine for 14 days'
"They were going to cast a random actor who would've eventually had to lick my face during COVID, which meant that he had to quarantine for 14 days and sit in a hotel room just waiting to lick my face. It was just awful," she explained.
'Do you think Nick would consider this'
Chopra, 40, went on to explain how the Jonas Brothers' singer was the ideal option to kiss her face because he had previously been in quarantine with her. "Nick came to help me settle in, and our director Jim (also known professionally as James C Strouse) had the bright idea. He was like, "Do you think Nick would consider this?" And I was like, "Yes. Yes, please!"' she said.
The Indian native actress explained how her husband saved the day on set. "So Nick took one for the team and was extremely gracious and lovely," she added, as reported by DailyMail. "He turned out to be so funny. It was so hard for me to act like I was embarrassed or mad at him, because I just couldn't stop laughing. All those chuckles made for a good time on set as they prepared for their not-so-great date. There was one time where Nick said something or did something, and we were inside the taxi, and the crew outside laughed out loud that we had to do another take," she revealed of their time together, as per reports.
