Met Gala 2023: 3 facts about Priyanka Chopra's Bulgari necklace worth $25 million
Met Gala is one of fashion's biggest nights, and there's no doubt that it takes something really special to steal the show. At this year's event, Priyanka Chopra Jonas ensured all eyes were on her in one of the most beautiful and expensive looks of the evening as she adorned a Bulgari necklace worth $25 million.
The actress took to the red carpet in a monochrome Valentino gown, which was a fitting tribute to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, the subject of this year's theme. But if we slightly overlook the dress, it was Chopra's Bulgari diamonds worth millions that were the focus of her look.

3 facts about 'Bulgari' necklace worth $25 million
1. The iconic piece is a high jewelry necklace, made from platinum and diamonds, which pays homage to Rome, the birthplace of the jeweler. It captures the Italian city with its interlocking diamonds, which take inspiration from the bay laurel wreaths once worn by Roman emperors.
2. The necklace features a single stone, the Bulgari Laguna Blu diamond, worth an incredible $25 million. The 11.16-carat gem, which gets its name catering to the vibrant oceanic blue color, was originally set as a ring in 1970 and is the largest Bulgari blue diamond to ever have been offered for sale by Sotheby’s. Blue is one of the rarest colored diamonds, with fewer than 10 blue diamonds over 10 carats coming into auction worldwide in the past few decades, making Chopra’s necklace a truly historic piece.
3. The Laguna will very likely remind people of The Heart Of The Ocean from 'Titanic'. Now, in lieu of being cast into the Atlantic post-Met, the gem will go under the hammer as part of Sotheby’s Luxury Week in Geneva later this month, with bids starting at a cool $25 million.
