The relationship between brothers Prince William and Harry has not mended yet as the family drama over Megxit goes on, an insider exclusively told the new issue of Us Weekly. “Publicly, they’ve stopped short of trash-talking each other. But behind closed doors, they’re both filled with anger and resentment,” the source said.

Adding further, the source stated that Harry knows very well that his elder brother is angry at him “for uprooting and leaving him to pick up the pieces.” “But the way Harry sees it, Meghan’s happiness is way more important … Harry’s fed up of being judged or expected to act a certain way.”

Earlier, it was reported that the first disagreement between the brothers reportedly emerged when William cautioned Harry about Meghan Markle when they were going out. The older one wanted the younger prince to take things slowly with the ‘Suits’ actress.

And now, since the Sussexes have decided to give up their royal roles, effective at the end of March, it has negatively affected the already fractured relationship between the brothers. After giving up their royal duties, the younger son of Prince Charles along with his wife, Meghan, and their firstborn Archie will start their ‘new life’ in Canada where they have been living for the past few months at a luxurious $16.4million waterside mansion.

An earlier report has also claimed that the couple is looking at rental properties in California, including an eight-bedroom Malibu mansion worth $17.6million, as it is close to Silicon Valley and Hollywood where the couple might have future engagements.

Another source told the magazine in October 2019 that Harry decided to give up his royal duties as he did not want his son to grow up in the spotlight. He “wants to shield his son from the negativity and tension” that comes with being born into a famous family.

The source had also said that the Duke of Sussex always felt like he was “living in his brother’s shadow.” “He doesn’t envy the responsibility that comes with being the future king of England, but William’s the ‘golden boy’ and Harry feels like he has a lot to live up to,” the insider has mentioned previously.

Meanwhile, royal photographer, Jayne Fincher, has recently said that the late Princess Diana would likely be upset over the events preceding and following Megxit. “She would be heartbroken, particularly as the boys have gone through so much together. [Diana] would be doing everything she could to try and solve it,” the photographer,  who in 1998 published 'Diana Portrait of a Princess', said.
