Post Malone Virtual Concert: Date, timings, trailer, how to live stream and all about celebrating Pokemon’s 25th anniversary
Virtual live concerts are the latest trend to take over the world of music, all thanks to the Covid-19 lockdown. Started in 2020, many artists adapted to the new normal with an intention to connect with their fans. The latest musician to join the league of virtual live concerts is global pop icon Post Malone.
Yes, the ‘Circles’ hitmaker is all set to perform at the virtual live concert, in collaboration with Pokemon, to celebrate their 25th anniversary. According to Billboard, The Pokemon Company International will also host a Pokémon GO Tour: Kanto event a few days before the virtual concert.

What is Pokemon’s virtual concert about?
To reiterate, the award-winning pop star will entertain the global audience in order to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Pokemon. Speaking about the same, Malone told Billboard, “I’ve been a fan for such a long time, kind of grew up with it. Celebrating 25 years is a big deal, so we decided to do it together," seemingly referring to his age.
The highly-anticipated event is being held in partnership with Universal Music Group. To celebrate such a big occasion, Pokemon is commemorating a quarter-century of its beloved video games, mobile apps, and more, with an all-year-long music campaign with an artist-involved series dubbed P25 Music.
When is it happening?
Post Malone’s concert will be held on Saturday, February 27, 2021, at 7 pm EST. The 25-year-musician also shared the big news on his official Instagram account with a very catchy video. Speaking about the current state of live performances, he told Billboard, “I think the livestream thing has been a great way to keep the music going, and to support some great causes, partner with cool brands and kick some a**.”

In the concert trailer, Post Malone can be seen walking backstage while speaking to the camera. He is later seen with the iconic Pokemon ball in his hand, and to everybody’s surprise, he turns into an animated avatar at the end of the video.
How to live stream?
The virtual concert is free for all. Fans can simply log into Pokémon's YouTube channel, Twitch channel, or the 25th-anniversary website. Interestingly, fans can also watch a curated selection of music-themed episodes of the Pokemon animated series on the same day as that of the concert. This can be done via Pokemon TV, either on the web or by downloading the app.
