Pitbull took to the stage at the pre-Super Bowl show in Miami on Saturday, the same show where Lady Gaga warned the show's halftime performers J.Lo and Shakira that she didn't want to hear any lip-syncing and Halsey screamed at a heckler who would not stop yelling her ex G-Eazy's name.

Basically, it was a really eventful show that got everyone talking way before the Super Bowl even began. And yet, somehow, Pitbull managed to rub a lot of people the wrong way with his performance. Some genuinely thought 'Pitbull at the Super Bowl' was in reference to the absolutely adorable 'Puppy Bowl' that happened pre-show, such as this extremely disappointed user who tweeted, "When they said Pitbull i thought there would be some awesome puppies, but here we are. That's some annoying shit." So we really weren't off to a good start.

Another viewer called out shows that continue to have Pitbull as a performer, saying "Pitbull has had one top 10 hit since like 2015 but they keep bringing him to all these big a** events." Users also posted some throwback photos to Pitbull's earlier days, stating "I remember when Pitbull was a "gangsta" rapper."

Several users pointed out that viewers weren't tuning in to watch Pitbull - his dancers seemed to be what was actually on everyone's mind. Their outfits divided viewers, with some commenting on how bad they were: "What are PitBull's dancers wearing? It looks like vinyl chaps over vinyl bikini bottoms."

Others jumped in to defend the rapper, saying "Pitbull may not be your fave music but he does a lot of good for his community!" in a tweet that featured the infamous 'Leave Britney Alone!' meme.

Many pointed out, however, that the addition of Pitbull to this lineup was a cultural win. One user tweets, "You know how this #SuperBowl halftime could be even better? If they added Pitbull to the mix! JLo + Shakira + Pitbull would be an absolute trifecta!" while user says, "Jlo, shakira, bad bunny, j Balvin, Demi, & pitbull?!? F*** ME UP Latinos are taking over the super bowl."

And they're not wrong! Time to get pumped up for what's sure to be an amazing show!
