Fans left teary-eyed as Pedro Pascal explains why he places his hand on stomach at red carpet events
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Pedro Pascal, known for his roles in popular shows like ‘Game of Thrones’, ‘The Mandalorian’, and ‘The Last Of Us’, has finally revealed the reason behind his signature red carpet pose. Pascal is known to often pose with his hand on his stomach. He recreated his famous pose at the Met Gala on May 1 after rocking the red carpet in a daring crimson ensemble.
Pedro appeared beside his co-star Bella Ramsey, 19, at the April 28 Los Angeles FYC event for HBO's ‘The Last Of Us' at the Directors Guild Of America. Bella questioned him about the rationale behind his stance after giving it a puzzled look.

‘I can already feel my nervousness’
The big revelation comes just a few days after Pedro made his red and black appearance at the Met Gala 2023. “You know why,” he said in response. “Because I can already feel my nervousness.” The two then smiled reassuringly at each other, and Bella nodded in agreement.
Pedro and Bella, known for their father/daughter bond on the hit show, looked elated together. Pedro chose a white smoking jacket with striped silk detail, paired with a brown untucked shirt and metallic trousers. Bella, who identifies as non-binary, opted for an androgynous look in a navy blue suit, striped shirt, white platforms and a gold magnet ring.
They only used a small amount of foundation and pink lipstick for their makeup. Their curled, cut brunette hair was left down. The two, whom Pedro has endearingly dubbed "Beldro," appeared to be having fun, beaming as they made faces on the black carpet.
Pedro's openness about mental health
The red carpet has already been buzzing about Pascal's outfit, which is from Maison Valentino's ready-to-wear collection for the next fall/winter season of 2023. Now, Pedro has made his followers swoon once again with his heartfelt revelation.

Admirers flocked to social media to thank Pedro for being so candid and open about his mental health. "I love how Pedro Pascal breaks down the barrier for men who go through things that are so invalidated by a certain group of society," one person said. "I love that about him; he's so open about everything he supports and believes in, and he's so open about anxiety and bereavement!"
"I so deeply adore Pedro Pascal and his willingness to be humorous and stupid and passionate and strong and sensitive," another commenter added. "Just when I think I can't adore him more," someone else said.
