LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Paris Hilton had a blast reacting to the unveiling of the Paris 2024 Olympics logo. In a playful Instagram post, she joked about the coincidence of sharing a name with the city. She shared a behind-the-scenes video where she was chatting with her dog, quipping, “Paris, France—what the? They should change the name; it’s confusing.” She then added with a laugh emoji, “Wait, they named it after me? Can you believe they named a city after me? Sliving!”

Hilton was referring to the stylish and glamorous lifestyle she embodies, which she humorously called “sliving” (a blend of “slaying” and “living”). While shooting for the NBC logo reveal video, Paris couldn't help but notice how the Olympics city this year matched just right with her name, with her sassy personality she added how the coincidence of the city’s name was aligning with her own.

Paris Hilton makes surprise cameo at NFL Wild Card Playoff game

Paris Hilton made a surprise appearance during NBC’s coverage of the NFL Wild Card Playoff game between the Los Angeles Chargers and the Jacksonville Jaguars. In a 20-second promotional video, Hilton is shown in a glamorous, sunlit room.

The video starts with a voiceover saying, “Next summer, the eyes of the world will be on...” As the scene unfolds, Hilton, dressed in a stunning gown, opens a set of terrace doors. She is then revealed as the focus of the promo.

The video shifts to Olympic highlights, and when it returns to Hilton, she looks disappointed. She realizes that the attention will be on the athletes competing in Paris, not on her, in the Summer of 2024.

How many times has France hosted the Olympics?

France has hosted the Olympics five times across different cities. Paris first hosted the Summer Olympics in 1900, becoming the first city to do so. It then hosted the Games again in 1924, marking Paris's second time as the host city. For the Winter Olympics, Grenoble took the spotlight in 1968, followed by Albertville in 1992, making them the only French cities to host the Winter Games. Looking ahead, Paris is hosting the Summer Olympics once more in 2024, marking its third time as the host city for the Summer Games.
