The 44-year-old singer who welcomed Esti Maxine Stephens with wife Chrissy Teigen, 37, on January 13, held the infant close to his chest while endearingly gazing at the camera. "Our new love," the Grammys award-winning musician captioned the adorable photo.
The ‘All of Me’ hitmaker, who tied the knot with Teigen in September 2013, also shares daughter Luna, 6, and son Miles, 4, with her. The ‘Minefields’ singer looked comfortable in a white and black knitted turtleneck while his newborn daughter appeared to be wrapped in a pink onesie. The picture has garnered over 600 thousand likes from the time it was posted. His 15.1 million followers flocked to the comments section, pointing out the uncanny resemblance between the father-daughter duo with one calling Esti his "twin." Just a day ago, Teigen showed off the newborn’s face for the first time on her Instagram. The model, who has been documenting her postpartum recovery on social media, uploaded a close-up snap of her daughter on Tuesday, January 24. In the snap, the newborn appeared to be wrapped up in a grey blanket as she rested her head onto her own arm while Teigen held her closely. She captioned the heartwarming image: "look at u out here lookin' like a baby."
Teigen had also previously given a glimpse of her newborn baby alongside her older siblings on Thursday, January 19 with a sweet photo. She captioned the post, revealing the name of the newborn: "She’s here! Esti Maxine Stephens - the house is bustling and our family could not be happier. Daddy sheds nightly tears of joy seeing Luna and Miles so full of love, and I am learning you still need diapers with a c-section!? We are in bliss. Thank you for all the love and well wishes - we feel it all!"
According to People, the proud father confirmed the news of their baby's birth only hours after the delivery while chatting with a crowd during a private concert on Friday, January 13. "What a blessed day," he said, adding that he "didn't get a lot of sleep" but he felt "energized" after spending "a lot of time" at the hospital.
