Ouch! Tarek El Moussa breaks his toe in jujitsu class during special ‘boys day’ with son Braydon
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA: It looks like the ‘Flip or Flop’ star Tarek El Moussa welcomed 2021 with an unfortunate mishap. The 41-year-old real estate investor and HGTV reality star shared on social media that his pinky toe was hurt while doing a jujitsu class with his 7-year-old son, Brayden El Moussa, over the weekend. His followers sent well wishes for a speedy recovery to the father-son duo.
The 'Flip or Flop' star, who shares Brayden as well as a daughter Taylor, 12, with his ex-wife Christina Hall, said that the injury came as he decided to dabble in the intensive sport for the first time in years. Tarek detailed his “boys' day” in the caption of the Instagram post with a photo of him and Braydon posing in matching attire. He wrote, “This Saturday was for the boys!!! On Saturday, Bray and I had ourselves a boys day!! It was my first time in years doing jujitsu but we did a class together and had a blast!”

The HGTV star then continued to elaborate, “Unfortunately, my pinky toe got caught on the mat and it’s black and blue so it may or may not be broken… 👀🤣🤦♂️ But we kept going!” The father-son duo then visited a restaurant for a meal and later played some games, Tarek added, “After, I took him and his friends to Dave & Buster’s, ate lunch and played a bunch of games!“ Noting how much he enjoyed spending time with his son, the reality star continued to write, “I’m having so much fun spending time with my little guy, it’s just incredible how much he is changing! And in a couple of weeks, he will be a big brother again.❤️”
Wishing him well, several of his followers noted what a great father Tarek was shaping up to be. Tarek’s heartfelt post for his son follows after recently expressing that he was nostalgic for the days when his children were little. In a separate post, the HGTV star had written how much he missed his daughter, Taylor’s early years, and how he only had six years until she would be off to college.
