Tarek El Moussa pays moving tribute to wife Heather Rae, says holidays were 'lonely' before her
NEWPORT BEACH, CALIFORNIA: In an endearing social media post, 'Flip or Flop' star Tarek El Moussa paid tribute to his beloved wife Heather Rae El Moussa. Tarek, who is expecting his third child with the 'Selling Sunset' star (it's the first for her), wrote what a "rockstar" his wife is.
In an Instagram post, Tarek shared a cute photo featuring Heather and their dog, Bugzy, and wrote a heartfelt caption dedicated to his wife. In the caption, the HGTV star wrote, “Dedicating this post to my wife who is an absolute rockstar!!" and said that she makes Christmas better adding, “She manages to make every Christmas better than the last- even while being in her third trimester ❤️” Tarek also continued to point out all the efforts Heather endures for the family even when pregnant. He continued to write, “She makes sure our home FEELS like the holidays:) and sets up elves around the house for the kids, dresses us all up in Christmas pjs for family photos, laughs through the chaos, and makes sure to get everyone gifts that make them feel special."

While stressing how important Heather is to him and how much he adores her, Tarek also revealed that he experienced a few "lonely holidays" before meeting her. He further wrote in his post, “For a while there I had some lonely holidays and I’m never going back!” Before Heather, the HGTV star was married to fellow "Flip or Flop" star Christina Hall (née Haack), and the two later divorced after the couple had irreconcilable differences. The couple's separation was quite painful, especially because even after the separation and later divorce, they had to face each other for the filming of the HGTV show.
Tarek ended his tribute message by writing how lucky he felt to have Heather in his life. He stated, “I don’t know how she does it, but I feel so lucky. 🙏” After reading the heartwarming tribute, Heather responded to the message by commenting on the post: “You are my rock. I love you so much. ❤️”
Tarek's tribute to his wife comes after Heather shared that she is suffering from painful sciatica in the final months of her pregnancy, causing her immense nerve and back pain, while her doctor advises her to rest.
