Oscars 2023: Salma Hayek 'twins' with 15-year-old daughter Valentina Pinault in matching red Gucci outfits
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Actor Salma Hayek attended the 95th Annual Academy Awards with her 15-year-old daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault. The mother-daughter duo stunned crowds as they walked the red carpet in coordinated Gucci gowns and minimal accessories. Pinault is Hayek's daughter with her business mogul husband François-Henri Pinault.
Hayek and Pinault joined the long bandwagon of celebrities who wore Gucci outfits for the event. Actor Jessica Chastain also opted for a Gucci outfit for the event and wore a shimmering strapless silver gown. 'Normal People' actor Paul Mescal went retro in a black Gucci suit.

Salma Hayek wore a sequinned red outfit and paired it up with a golden clutch for Oscars 2023. The actor also presented the award for the Best International Feature Film alongside Antonio Banderas. Her daughter, Valentina Pinault, donned a bright fire-engine red strapless gown — its smooth, silken sheen complementing the textured and darker hued sequinned look her mother had picked for the night. She also accessorised her look with a sparkly diamond necklace and drop earrings.

This isn't the first time when Hayek and Pinault showcased their fashion on the red carpet together. On Sunday, March 12, the mother-daughter also attended Vanity Fair Oscar Party. It was hosted by Radhika Jones at Wallis Annenberg Center for the performing arts in Beverly Hills. Hayek wore a plunging silver sequinned gown with smokey eye makeup. Pinault kept her look minimal with a pink outfit.
Last month, Hayek brought Pinault and her stepdaughter Mathilde to Milan Fashion Week. Earlier this month, Pinault opened up about her career plans and revealed that she is planning to take the acting path just like her mother but will also explore film direction at some point in later career.
