'Stop face tuning’: Salma Hayek slammed as actress covers 'age spots with filters' in social media post
Salma Hayek took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon, January 18, and fans were left gushing over the new photo of her in a robe. The 56-year-old actress, captioned the photo “Good morning!! buenos días!! bonjour!!” and gave a shout-out to the people behind the bold new look by tagging hairstylist Jennifer Yepez and makeup artist Sofia Schwarzkopf-Tilbury, who opted for a bright red lipstick to match her old Hollywood glam and a slicked-back ponytail.
Calling Hayek "stunning," Matthew McConaughey's wife Camila took to the comments while one of many tagged her as an "ageless beauty." One of many wrote, "56 NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD." While one individual asked, "Omg why you still look the same 15years ago?"

On the other hand, there were many who pointed out the filters. One of them wrote with a laughing emoji, "I love these filters😂 Everyone is so smoothed and lifted." While another suggested, "You look beautiful so plz stop face tunning its getting out off hand." One more wrote, "Stop covering age spots with filters...You look great without them!" Prior to the deleted photo, Hayek on January 11 shared pictures of her attire from the Golden Globes 2023. Wearing a custom crystal-embroidered gown from Gucci along with Maison Boucheron jewels, a Dionysus clutch, and peep-toe sandals, the actress captioned the post saying, “I wish I could tell you I arrived on a plane from Europe, woke up like this, and easily just slipped into a dress, but in reality, it took a beauty army of skilled soldiers to get me together for the #GoldenGlobes red carpet last night! Thank you to @gucci, @boucheron and my entire crew!!”
