Billie Eilish with her musician brother Finneas Baird O'Connell won the Academy Award for Best Original Song for ‘No Time to Die’. Billie’s loyal fans might have been elated with the singer picking the golden statue at the age of 20 but the majority of the Internet expressed their disappointment over the same. The song featured in the last installment of Daniel Craig’s James Bond flick was released two years ago and social media users felt ideally it should not even have been nominated.

Billie Eilish’s ‘No Time to Die’ was up against ‘Dos Oruguitas’ performed by Sebastían Yatr for ‘Encanto’, ‘Somehow You Do’ by Reba McEntire for ‘Four Good Days’, ‘Down to Joy’ by Van Morrison for ‘Belfast’ and ‘Be Alive’ by Beyoncé for Will Smith starrer ‘King Richard’. The social media users also slammed the Academy for picking Billie over the deserving Beyonce. For the unversed, Billie Eilish's theme song for James Bond ‘No Time to Die’ already picked up a Grammy award for Best Song Written for Visual Media.
