Oscars 2020 Best Dressed Stars on Red Carpet: From Brie Larson in a cape to Billy Porter in feathers
Oscars are here and along with it, the crème de la crème of Hollywood is serving up looks for the most awaited film event of the year. Once again being held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, California, the 92nd Academy Awards did not disappoint when it came to red carpet fashion. There were some looks which seriously had us floored - check out the best ones from the starry night.
1. Sandra Oh
We want to frame this photo of Sandra Oh in Ellie Saab - easily the most beautiful look of the night. This delicate blush gown with a plunging neckline and tulle trims cinched together with a golden belt.
2. Billy Porter
Porter did not come to play, you guys. The 'Pose' star, who makes a grand entrance every time he steps on a red carpet, stood loud and proud in this custom Giles Deacon Couture piece. From the high heeled shoes, guided-yet-feathery top to the jewels, this look is seriously royalty.
3. America Ferrara
America looked every bit a warrior princess in this deep maroon dress, an Alberta Ferretti red chiffon and georgette gown. This look was special to America, who gently held her baby bump during the red carpet. "Tonight, I bring my own warrior ancestors with me, the indigenous Lenca tribe of Honduras," the star shared on Instagram.
4. Mindy Kaling
Does she ever let anyone down? Clearly not. Mindy's been very excited about presenting an award this year and stepped on the carpet looking like a million bucks in this rich yellow one-shouldered gown.
5. Kaitlyn Dever
The 'Booksmart' actor looked stunning in this red strapless gown, adorned with some serious jewels at the bust. It's a pretty different look for Kaitlyn, who usually goes for light and playful - but it's gorgeous none the less.
6. Rebel Wilson
Rebel Wilson channeled the spirits of the Oscars in this custom gold Jason Wu gown. The beautifully draped blingy gown showed off Rebel's shoulders while hugging her curves. A beautiful look, she finished it off with a bright red lip and side-swept, curls.
7. Salma Hayek
Salma Hayek looked like a Greek goddess in a white airy Gucci one-shoulder piece with a side slit. Accessorizing with a gorgeous tiara and a simple bracelet, she looked stunning!
8. Brie Larson
The 'Captain Marvel' actor wore a blush gown with a plunging neckline and a cape, probably taking inspiration from her Marvel role. Love the slick hair, too.
9. Gal Gadot
'Wonder Woman' arrived at the red carpet in this lacy black and pink dress, looking so glam.
10. Scarlett Johansson
Gorgeous? We think so. The 'Black Widow' actor dazzled in this slinky strapless silver dress, complete with a train.
