Backstreet Boys extend 'DNA World Tour', announce new dates for North American leg

The Backstreet Boys are completely aware of the love of their fans and have extended the dates on their 'DNA World Tour', including stops in North Carolina and Virginia

It looks like the mighty world-famous boy band Backstreet Boys are well on their way for a comeback. On February 10, the group announced an extension of their current 'DNA World Tour' for 2020, which began last summer. The 45-day tour, produced by Live Nation, will take place this summer will kick off on July 10 at the Jones Beach Theater in New York and include performances across the US and Canada and wraps up on October 9 in Los Angeles.

The tour, which will be in support of their latest No. 1 album 'DNA', has already visited five continents and will continue later this February when the group will head out to Mexico, South America, Australia and New Zealand.

According to Rolling Stone, band member AJ McLean said in a statement, “We give our fans 100%, night after night, putting on the best Backstreet Boys show we can," adding, “We play our hits, we dance our asses off and we do it because we love our fans. We have the best fans in the world. They come out to party and they sing at the top of their lungs and we feed off that energy. We can’t wait to take this show on the road again this summer.”

The boys will make two stops in North Carolina on the tour. The band will stop in Raleigh at the Walnut Creek Amphitheatre on September 21 and the PNC Music Pavilion in Charlotte on September 22.

Tickets for the upcoming North American dates go on sale to the public on Valentine's Day via Live Nation.
