'No rationality, only emotions': Monica Bellucci and Tim Burton reveal secret romance after 4 months
BURBANK, CALIFORNIA: Film producer Tim Burton and Italian actress Monica Bellucci have been secretively dating for four months. The 58-year-old Italian actor and the 68-year-old movie producer are said to have started dating four months ago after seeing one another at the Lyon Lumière Film Festival in October; they initially met 16 years ago. At the time they became partners, Monica, an honored guest at the festival, presented Tim with the Lumiere lifetime achievement award on stage.
Tim Burton made the following comment during his address after Monica presented the award to her rumored beau, "All my life put together, I have never felt so much love as tonight. Welcome to the best funeral I ever had!" The two were also seen making their way in to watch the remake of the 1895 silent documentary film by the late Louis Lumiere. For more information, MailOnline has gotten in touch with the representatives of Monica and Tim.

A surprising new couple in Hollywood?
The film industry is riddled with long-lasting, short-lived, and unexpected relationships. The two most known faces in Hollywood, Monica, and Tim are believed to have begun dating a few months ago. But, they are no longer secretive about their romance and have openly expressed it in the streets of the French capital.
Paris Match claims that the couple first met in 2006 while walking up to the Palais des Festival de Cannes. Despite its briefness, the interaction was intense. The connection they both shared at the time now seems to have developed into a more formal romantic bond 16 years later. They later reconnected at the Lumiere Festival in October 2022, where they both fell in love. The 'Mafia Mamma' actress and 'Edward Scissorhands' director were pictured holding hands on Monday in Madrid, according to the cover of Paris Match magazine.
A look into Tim and Monica's relationship timeline
Both have experienced several years of stagnant sentimental lives. Tim famously dated 'The Crown' actress Helena Bonham Carter, 56, but the couple regrettably broke up in 2014. The couple spent 13 years together but never got married. They have two children together, Billy, 20, and Nell, 16. In 2016, Helena confirmed her breakup with Harper's Bazaar magazine. She stated, "You go through massive grief - it is a death of a relationship, so it’s utterly bewildering. Your identity, everything, changes."
Tim and Helena started dating in 2001 after he featured her as an ape in the movie 'Planet of the Apes'. During their relationship, they were known for living in adjoining homes that were each decorated in accordance with their individual preferences and styles.
On the other hand, Monica has been single since her split with artist Nicolas Lefebvre in 2019. From 1997 to 2013, she was formerly married to Vincent Cassel. On the shooting of Gilles Mimouni's movie 'L’Appartement' in 1996, the former model first met Cassel. Deva, born in 2004, and Leonie, born in 2010, are their two children.
When she was still married to Cassel, Monica commented on love in an interview with Paris Match from back in 2011. She acknowledged that there is "no rationality" for her when it involves relationships. She stated, "I am carried by the moment and instinct. No rationality, only emotions. You love or you don't."
Tim Burton, an Oscar-nominated director, most recently worked on 'Wednesday', a popular Netflix series, as co-executive producer and director. Monica made her theatrical debut last month in 'Letters and Memoirs' in New York City as 20th-century soprano Maria Callas. She will be featured opposite Toni Collette in the forthcoming comedy 'Mafia Mamma'.
