Youngboy Never Broke Again's collaborative single with Nicki Minaj has been making headlines since its first teaser back in August, and it looks like we finally have a release date. Minaj took to her social media on Monday, November 2, to share the date, its official title, as well as who is tapped in as the role of producer. Check out her announcement below.

Title

The upcoming song has been monikered 'What That Speed Bout', according to Nicki Minaj's latest Instagram post on the track. Whether the track will feature on either Youngboy or Minaj's larger projects, or as a standalone single, is unclear.

Release date

'What That Speed Bout' is dropping on Thursday (November 5). The exact time of its release hasn't been confirmed, so mark your calendars for the scheduled date and keep a lookout on social media or streaming platforms during the night.

Credits

Apart from Nicki Minaj and Youngboy as the collaborative artistes on the song, Mike Will Made It is the producer. Mike Will is a platinum-selling record producer, DJ, rapper and singer-songwriter, best known for producing trap beats for Southern hip-hop artistes. He has worked with numerous musical heavyweights such as Rihanna (on 'Pour It Up'), Miley Cyrus ('We Can't Stop'), Beyoncé ('Formation'), Kendrick Lamar ('Humble'), Lil Wayne ('Love Me'), Juicy J ('Bandz a Make Her Dance'), Ciara ('Body Party'), 2 Chainz ('No Lie') and Rae Sremmund (on 'Black Beatles' and 'Powerglide') among others.

Mike Will has released a total of six mixtapes and one studio album, 'Ransom 2'. 'What That Speed Bout' will also mark the first collaboration between Youngboy and Nicki Minaj for a song.

Announcement

For her announcement, Minaj wrote, “#WhatThatSpeedBout THURSDAY NIGHT,” with alarm emojis, adding, “NBA YOUNG BOY X BARBIE X MIKE WILL.” Her post came with a picture of Minaj and Youngboy posing on the set of the song's music video, where Minaj is seen sporting her baby bump in a sci-fi space theme setting. Fan reactions

Numerous fans have shared their excitements for the collab, but the announcement has also drawn negative comments on Twitter. One fan already deems the song "a hit" while another described it as a "spicy collab".

While one fan called the duo both "Goats," others argue that Youngboy will carry the song more than Minaj and vice versa.

One user said, "It’s gonna be good until she starts," to which another replied, "its gna be good when she starts".

Another harsher comment reads, "This sh*t bout to be an immaculate level of trash."

Although fans debate whether the song is going to be good or not, we are excited at the idea of a Youngboy-Nicki collab and can't wait for it. Are you looking forward to their collab? Tell us what you think in the comments below.
