Nick Young claims Michael B Jordan left Lori Harvey as he prefers 'white women' but fears 'backlash'
Nick Young believes Michael B Jordan broke up with Lori Harvey as he prefers White women. The basketball player also claimed that Jordan is not dating White women as he fears a "backlash" from the Black community.
On Friday, June 10, Young, who was previously engaged to Australian rapper Iggy Azalea, took to Twitter to express his opinion. He implied that the 'Creed' actor likes White women but is afraid to date one for fear of backlash. Young's tweet read, "Mike b Jordan really like the white meat but y'all [won't] let him be with one lol."

However, Young's comments blew up and there were a host of reactions. Since Young himself is well-known for dating White girls, many believed that the former NBA player was the least qualified to have an opinion on Jordan's purported preference in women.
One individual commented, "It is crazy how men these days are such huge gossipers and tend to gossip so much and have no shame. Like who woke up and asked Nick Young his 2 cents?" Another individual warning him wrote, "Nick you deserve whatever clap back cause you are the last one that need to be talking about some white meat."
"He's in no position to talk," a third person responded. The 37-year-old athlete was reminded by a fourth individual, "So do you. You forgot?" Another person said, "I mean so do he, he only went back cause she his bm got pregnant again." One of Young's critics stated, "You did too," while another argued, saying, "How 'WE' stopping Michael from being with white meat? Make it make sense." However, another person concurred with Young's statement that "finally somebody stated it out loud."
Beginning of November 2021, Jordan and Harvey dated for more than a year before calling it quits. Although neither of them publicly spoke about their breakup, the model removed all pictures of the actor from her Instagram account, and neither Harvey nor Jordan are Instagram followers of the other.
Jordan and Harvey reportedly split on June 4, according to People. "Michael and Lori are both completely heartbroken. They still love each other," a source told the outlet. "Michael matured a lot over the course of their relationship and was ready to commit for the long term. He let down his guard with her, opening up emotionally in a romantic relationship for the first time." The person continued, "They had great times together and brought out the best in each other."
