From date nights to PDA: Inside Michael B Jordan and Lori Harvey's short but sweet relationship
Just a couple of months after making their debut as a couple on the red carpet of the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Michael B Jordan and Lori Harvey have reportedly called it quits. Neither Jordan nor Harvey have confirmed or commented on the split on any of their social media handles but Harvey appears to have deleted all their pictures from her Instagram.
However, the model’s father, Steve Harvey confirmed the rumors. He acknowledged the breakup on Monday, June 6, episode of ‘The Steve Harvey Morning Show,’ saying, “Team Lori, 1,000%. She’s my daughter. I love her, I support her… Things happen. It’s hard to be young and in the limelight and have a successful relationship. Look, as long as everybody can walk away in peace, be friends… I ain’t heard nobody say they busted no windows or nothing. As long as you don’t put your hands on my daughter, I don’t give a damn what you do.”

He didn’t offer much details about why they ended their relationship, which started in November 2020. Calling Jordan a 'cool guy,' the host shared, “I’m pretty sure they’ll be fine. People break up all the time.”
The pair shared date nights during these two years of dating and weren’t shy about hiding their love for each other. Well, it was sweet while it lasted, let's take a look at how it all began.
The short love story
The former couple first sparked romance rumors in November 2020 before they made their relationship official just two months later. The pair went on Instagram, making it official in January 2021 where Jordan posted, "10:10 HBD 🐢 #24"
The following month, Lori celebrated Michael's 34th birthday by posting a post "nugget"—one of her many nicknames for the actor—on Instagram. She added, "I love you baby...hope today has been at least half as special as you are." In response, Jordan commented, "Thank you baby I love you too."
Jordan also posted some grainy photos with his girlfriend on Instagram story, posing as if they were about to kiss. Lori posted similar pictures, captioning them with a heart emoji. Following this, the 'Creed' actor on February 18, 2021, posted a few pictures saying, "I love you baby."
Just after making their relationship status official, Steve Harvey too gave a stamp of approval saying, “I like this one. I still got my eye on him." "I mean, I like him, but like I say to all of ’em, ‘I might like you, I might approve of you, but I got a thumb-size section of my heart filled with nothing but pure hatred for your ass. Just in case I need it,'" he said on 'The Steve Harvey Morning Show'.
Then, in November 2021, the pair each took to their Instagram profiles to celebrate their one-year anniversary which both of them have now deleted. Jordan posted a photo of Lori kissing him on the cheek as he wrote, "Happy Anniversary." Then, he shared another picture of Lori resting her head on his shoulder and added, "It's been a year crazy!!"
In an interview in April 2021 with People, Jordan said, “I’m still private, and I want to protect that, but it just felt like it was a moment of just wanting to put it out there and move on." "I am extremely happy” added the actor who referred Harvey as 'my turtle.'
