New Year’s Rockin’ Eve will have Post Malone, Alanis Morissette, Green Day among others performing

'Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest' is all set and ready to ring in the new year with an illustrious line-up of performers. Celebrations will be held across the country including slots in New York, New Orleans, Los Angeles, and will start airing on December 31 starting 8 pm ET on ABC.

Green Day, Paula Abdul, and Salt-N-Pepa are among the West Coast performers for the festive occasion.

Post Malone will be headling the show in New York from Times Square and the Jonas Brothers will deliver the first live performance of 2020 when they take the stage from Miami just after the clock strikes 12:00 at midnight. Additional New York performers include BTS, Sam Hunt and Alanis Morissette who will perform for the first time with the cast of Broadway's 'Jagged Little Pill' musical.

The Hollywood stage will include performances from Dua Lipa, Megan Thee Stallion, Kelsea Ballerini, Blanco Brown, Dan + Shay, Ava Max, Anthony Ramos and Shaed. Dick Clark's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest is a traditional and much-loved celebration each year often regarded as a New Year's staple in the US and around the globe.

Ciara will be returning as host for the West Coast event along with a performance of her new single 'Melanin'. According to Deadline, this will be the star's third return to the stage as host for the event. YouTube, the presenting sponsor, will air special content throughout the show with top stories and trends from 2019. YouTube will also look back at the biggest trends from the past decade and make a surprise announcement, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

It was previously announced that Lucy Hale would join Ryan Seacrest as host of the Times Square celebration, with Billy Porter hosting the Central Time Zone celebration in New Orleans. The New Orleans show will include performances from Sheryl Crow and Usher, live from the Allstate Fan Fest ahead of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
