LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: While the highly anticipated Season 3 of 'The Witcher' is all set to grace Netflix, fans are extremely excited about the Geralt of Rivia coming back to their screens. The trailer depicted Henry Cavill's Geralt going on a killing spree and acknowledging his fear.

Even though fans are excited to see both volumes of the series but are unhappy about Cavill's departure from the show. Some are adamant about not wanting to see Liam Hemsworth play Geralt even though Cavill has willingly handed over the mantle to him. The fans have even gotten to the extent of referring to Season 3 as the final season of 'The Witcher' because of Cavill's departure.

'The season ends here'

While fans were pouring their love for Cavill and the chaos depicted in the new trailer, they also mentioned how this is the last season for them. One user commented, "The season ends here. There is no series without Henry, he IS Geralt. Shame on everyone involved who would not let him do his thing." Another user mentioned, "We will miss Henry as Geralt. Toss a coin to our Witcher. He deserve a lot more," referring to the popular song from Season 1. A third user commented about missing Cavill and said, "The show will never be the same without Henry Cavill." A fourth user praised Cavill and his co-actors for their character portrayal and said, "Henry Cavill was the absolute face of this show. His mannerisms, amazing physique and incredible voice make/would have made/should have made Geralt an astounding character. Him and Yennefer, two very strong male and female characters would have been a great "role model" to teens besides obvious commercial success, praise and loyalty from the fans and the fanbase. If I worked in the show, I would have done anything to keep Henry there, follow the books and rival a game of thrones success. It's a shame they don't get it from a business perspective."

A fifth user was impressed by Cavill's dedication and said, "Henry Cavill's contribution to the series and him wanting Netflix to be book accurate is admirable, its crazy he's no longer Witcher'. A sixth user confessed about the bittersweet upon seeing the trailer and said, "This is a bittersweet moment. Thank you Henry Cavill for everything. We will be seated one last time for you. This is goodbye."
