Seungri to be moved to civilian prison after SC rejects his plea to reduce 18-month sentence

Fans are horrified after watching Netflix’s ‘Cyber Hell’

Viewers are now talking about how it relates to many of the ongoing controversies like that of Kim Garam from HYBE whose school bullying scandal involved a victim who was involved in filming a classmate in a state of undress as they allege that young kids are also engaging in such crimes proving why South Korean laws need implementation. Not only that but fans are pointing out how the sentence suffered by former K-pop idol, Seungri, was too low for the crimes he had committed. Seungri was charged with one year and six months in prison for prostitution and spycam filming alongside many other counts.

Knetz are discussing how Korean laws need strict implementation as molka (spycam) scandals have been highly prevalent in the country and still, there is very little action against the perpetrators and consumers. One user said, “And this is why sex crimes are so rampant.” Another user said, “Everyone, please go watch 'Cyber Hell'... As someone with a child myself, I'm so enraged by what I saw that I'm actually dealing with the trauma of watching it for days after.” One more user argued, “They should all be sent to jail... this kind of content is only produced because there is a consumer demand.”

One user said, “Our laws are so crap... why even bother having judges if they're just all going to get away with it.” One more user added, “And this is the biggest problem with our country... no matter what terrible thing happens, nothing ever changes.” Another user said “I watched 'Cyber Hell' on Netflix and the actual details of the case are so much worse than what I read in the news. The fact that not one of the buyers went to jail... is so shocking.” One fan guessed, “The reason why? Because Korean law is sh*t.”

One user said, “After watching cyber hell, why am I not surprised? sk society can ignore a whole published issue of sexual abuse and harassment of minors as young as 12 but God forbid an idol caught with weed has to suffer 3yrs in prison.” One user said, “Watch cyber hell on netflix will make you hate men more.” One more user said, “Cyber hell scares tf outta me, the fact that there are kids being so open nowadays on internet scared me too like anything could happen, if an adult could fall for it, imagine minors.”
