Netflix is all set to expand its adult-oriented animated series. The streaming service has made a deal with animation studio Titmouse Animations which has been behind shows such as 'Big Mouth,' 'Venture Bros' and the upcoming 'The Midnight Gospel.' According to the deal, Netflix will also get a first look at all new adult animated series produced by Titmouse.

Netflix has worked with the studio before on 'Big Mouth,' from Brutus Pink and is set to release 'The Midnight Gospel' by Pendelton Ward and Duncan Trussell soon. It is not an exlusive deal, however, and Titmouse's work with Adult Swim and Amazon Prime's upcoming 'Critical Role' series will continue.

“When Netflix asked if we wanted to go steady, we were thrilled. When we asked if it could be an open relationship, they said, ‘Yeah, of course. It’s the 21st century, kid. That’s the only way we’ll have it.’ Now we are friends with benefits and I couldn’t be more stoked,” said Chris Prynoski, Titmouse president and founder to Deadline. “This new and exciting relationship will help quench our relentless thirst for producing animated cartoons. Excuse me, I’m gonna go carve NF+TM on a tree now.”

“Titmouse has been at the forefront of the evolving animation industry and is the creative force behind an impressive variety of projects, including our very own Big Mouth and The Midnight Gospel,” Mike Moon, head of adult animation for Netflix told Deadline. “We’re thrilled to expand our collaboration with Chris, Shannon and the entire team at Titmouse as we continue to develop and produce bold original animation together."

Titmouse itself is looking to expand its roster, posting a tweet calling out for new recruits to apply, tweeting, "We got jobs that need a'fillin! You can apply directly through our website."

The Midnight Gospel will debut on Netflix sometime in 2020.
