This article contains spoilers for season 11, episode 4: 'Yellow Jack'.

After pulling at our brains last week with impeccable humor and brilliant, on-point comebacks that made  us believe in them even more as a functioning and hilarious couple, Deeks and Kensi managed to pull at our heartstrings on tonight's episode of NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11, episode 4 as we got a glimpse of them as prospective parents.

The episode saw the newlywed couple in a new light: what would it be like if Kensi got pregnant? With the risk factor in their jobs already running high, it's pretty interesting, and not to say, equally terrifying to imagine what a pregnancy at this time would mean for the couple. Are they ready for one? Will they be able to handle a child at this point in their career? Or their lives?

Clearly, with Kensi pretty much going berserk with the pregnancy scare it is evident that they haven't thought it through, which makes the scene right where she finds out that she isn't pregnant, even more intense. The two decide it is time to talk about that big step in their relationship and that has fans tearing up because they weren't ready for all those feels to hit them suddenly. Especially with Kensi asking for space out of the blue, and Deeks getting all worked up about what he might have done to upset her - things got pretty heavy for the fandom.

Speaking about the time of the issue, which was right in the middle of an active case turning even more dangerous with every development, one fan noted how realistic the situation was. Twitter user @SWheezly shared: "Stuff happens like that, sometimes. Kensi was already bouncing off the walls, and Deeks was confused and concerned. He wanted her to talk, but she wouldn't; she wasn't really ready to talk to him about what was bothering her. Then the case came along..."

But other fans decided to forego any and all discussion on how much sense it made to insert this subplot right in the middle of the case, instead, they were only left able to comment about how emotional it all got. Picking out their favorite Densi moment from the episode, user @BlancaEsparza09 commented: "Aww come on. "I am not gonna leave you." They'll make great parents. Eventually. #NCISLA #Densi." Other fans stuck to the typical and poured in with comments on how tears were flooding in, writing "I needed a tissue at the of the episode", and "crying over my densi babes ahhh i wasnt prepared to deal with all that cuteness."

'NCIS: Los Angeles' season 11 airs on Sundays at 9 pm only on CBS.
