MDC 3's impeccable ability to narrate stories with their bodies has received a lot of appreciation from judges and fans alike. Madison Smith, Emma Mather and Diego Pasillas aka MDC 3 have time and again managed to knock the socks off judges' feet with their impressive performance and it was no different during the semifinals round either. Considering that the finals stage and a million dollars was just within arm's reach, the trio put in their best efforts to deliver one of the finest performances, which would ensure that they secure a spot in the finals.

For the semifinals round, the trio decided to step away from their usual love triangle story performance and decided to take on a more personal topic. Madison's mother had battled cancer, which left a deep impact on her and her friends. So, they decided to honor Madison's mother with their moving performance. The trio performed to 'This Woman's Work' by Maxwell.

The dancers churned out a beautiful, heartwarming performance that features a couple going through a rough patch in their relationship, but in the end, we see how love can conquer everything. The couple manages to sail through their hard times by putting on a united front and loving each other deeply. Madison, Emma, and Diego's dance routine was flawless. At the end of their performance, Derek Hough got up from his chair to applaud their brilliant performance, while Jennifer Lopez could be seen shedding some tears.

JLo took a moment to gather herself, before expressing how intense and powerful their performance was. She also admitted that their performance left her speechless, as she too could feel all the strong emotions conveyed through their dance. Ne-Yo, who is usually one of the toughest judges to please on the show, too expressed that he only ever got goosebumps twice ever since he first started judging 'World of Dance' since it's inception, before revealing that their performance was the second performance to leave him with goosebumps. While Derek was in awe of their dance routine. He expressed gratitude to Madison, Emma, and Diego for giving him the opportunity to watch their exceptional performance.

The judges were not only generous with their compliments, but also with their scores. Ne-Yo gave them a score of 94, while JLo gave them a whopping 98, and Derek scored them 98 too! This put them on the top of the leaderboard with an impressive total of 96.7. The trio secured a spot in the finals. They will be competing with Jefferson and Adrianita, Geometrie Variable and Oxygen for the coveted title of World's Best Dancer and a million dollars. We can't wait to see MDC3's next performance.

'World of Dance' Season 4 airs every Tuesday at 10/9c only on NBC.
