'God didn’t give you enough?': Naomi Campbell called out over heavily photoshopped Oscars party snaps
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Naomi Campbell drew backlash for a glaringly obvious Photoshop disaster after her social media followers noticed stark differences between paparazzi shots of her at an Oscars party red carpet on Sunday, March 12, and the photos she posted on Instagram.
The 52-year-old supermodel turned heads in a stunning Grecian gown at the Vanity Fair Oscars Party and uploaded flawless photos to social media. However, fans were quick to notice differences between the original snaps and her social media post. The star was accused of "shrinking" her head and nose while "retouching" her jaw and also lightening her skin.

The original press agency photos highlighted Campbell's natural cheekbones and jawline while also capturing the texture of her face. However, images posted on Instagram showed the model's face appearing elongated and heavily smoothed. Meanwhile, her head seemed disproportionate to the rest of her frame and her skin also appeared lighter.
The second post, however, did not look heavily edited.
'God didn’t give you enough?'
Fans did not hold back in their criticism of Campbell, while also reminding her she doesn't need to edit her photos. "Please delete the first photo, you looked amazing without photoshop!!! You don't need to edit your photos!" one wrote.
"1st pic is the worst photoshopped pic I've ever seen," another added. "Girl ily but why the airbrushing 😭," a comment read.
"Girl you’re a literal goddess. You do not need all that blur and contour!! We ADORE YOUR real beauty ❤️❤️," someone else offered.
"God didn’t give you enough? You are gorgeous and the untouched pics are stunning and real. A gorgeous woman growing wiser and setting the tone for the rest of us. You don’t need photoshop or filters. You are naturally stunning. I love the first one before it was ruined. You are magical just like you are!" another chimed in.
"She is Naomi !! And her team wasn’t able to find a single ONE good photo?" yet another wondered.
Campbell reportedly wore a Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown at the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party. The dress is described by the designer as a "fully embroidered stretch silk georgette," with "chiclet-shaped molded leather metal sequins," and "trompe l’œil brass and hand-faceted glass nipple piercings." And while the supermodel was called out for her apparent photoshop fail, she was also showered with praise for her timeless beauty, with fans writing, "This lady is magic" and "Divine queen."
This is not the first time the fashionista has been accused of photoshopping her images. Back in 2018, she uploaded a make-up-free snap to Instagram -- only for fans to question if she had digitally slimmed her nose down. Campbell eventually took down the post following the backlash.
Becoming a mother
The veteran model shocked fans last May by announcing the birth of her daughter just weeks after appearing on the New York Fashion Week ramp without a visible baby bump. She would later maintain that her child wasn't adopted.
"She wasn’t adopted – she’s my child," Campbell confirmed to British Vogue in February while posing with her daughter for a cover shoot. However, she admitted that very few of her pals and loved ones knew she was planning on becoming a mother. "I can count on one hand the number of people who knew that I was having her," she explained. "But she is the biggest blessing I could ever imagine. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done."
