'Tormented' Justin Bieber sneaks into Vanity Fair Oscars party draped in a blanket without wife Hailey
BEVERLY HILLS, CALIFORNIA: Due to an allegedly rekindled dispute between the model and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez, Justin Bieber did not attend the Vanity Fair Oscars party with his wife, Hailey Bieber, as per sources who spoke to Page Six. Even though the pop artist had publicly supported Hailey earlier in the day on social media, he instead met her inside the starry event while bizarrely dressed in a blanket at the party.
According to a source who spoke to Page Six, Justin, 29, attended the Vanity Fair Oscars gala, but "he came in a back entrance and met Hailey inside." For the occasion, Hailey, 26, appeared on the VF carpet wearing a black couture Saint Laurent gown. A source said that Justin appeared unwell and was dressed strangely, with a blanket draped over his shoulders. He was covered in a blanket and stooped over. He appeared "tormented," and he looked "weird."

Justin supports wife Hailey amid rekindled drama
According to Vanity Fair, "Justin Bieber arrived… wearing what appeared to be a quilted blanket on his back and immediately went up to Clippers star Russell Westbrook, who was clad in head-to-toe Thom Browne." The appearance came as controversy boiled up again between Hailey and his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez. Earlier in the day, Justin posted adorable pictures of the pair on Instagram to show his support.
On Instagram, the 'Baby' singer shared a photo of Hailey and him cuddling up during their recent tropical holiday. He captioned the picture, "LUV U BABY" which showed the couple napping in their swimming suits on the back of a boat. Hailey refuted claims that she was a "mean girl," but Gomez declared that she was moving away from social media amid the ongoing drama.
'He still somehow looks unhappy'
Fans on social media, however, doubt the cordial relationship between Justin and Hailey, and claim Justin "looks unhappy." One user commented, "And he still somehow looks unhappy," while another commented, "Hailey, stop posting pictures on Justin's behalf." Several other users claimed that Hailey is using Justin's phone to post the couple's picture, as one user said, "Hailey use justin phone," while another commented, "Hailey give him this phone back." Yet another user said, "Hailey give Justin his phone back already." One more user exclaimed, "I’ve been seeing a lot of Hailey posts on his instagram now since she started drama."
Vanity Fair Oscars Party 2023
Other guests at the event included Olivia Wilde, Florence Pugh, Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler, Cara Delevingne, Ke Huy Quan, Emily Ratajkowski, Billie Eilish, Lauren Sanchez, Jeff Bezos, Camila Morrone, and many more. A star-studded presence by Rihanna was also made at the occasion. Nancy Pelosi and her husband, Paul, were out and about, visiting with a range of well-wishers, including Queen Latifah, Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, Denis Villeneuve, Ronan Farrow, and Michael Govan, the director of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.
Sarah Paulson, Patricia Clarkson, and Sharon Stone all occupied one booth while Olivia Wilde and Emily Ratajkowski were at the other booth. Dr Dana Blumberg introduced her husband, New England Patriots founder Robert Kraft, to Andrew Garfield nearby, which was a little unexpected.
Guests arrived at the Annenberg Center for the yearly pre-party dinner, which was hosted by VF editor-in-chief Radhika Jones, just as the Oscars got underway. Chrissy Teigen and John Legend arrived prepared to party hard. Early attendees that came on the red carpet after the ceremony, like Taika Waititi and Rita Ora, then made their way to the party smoking next to Tom Ford. In addition, Brendan Fraser, the best actor winner, allowed many people to touch the miniature gold guy while he was standing next to fellow '90s icons Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alicia Silverstone.
