'I've always wanted to share': Naomi Campbell to offer classes to aspring models, says she 'likes mentoring'
One of the most prolific supermodels of her generation, Naomi Campbell is all excited to take up a new role, teach! The British actress and supermodel just last week released her first-ever MasterClass on core modeling. She aims to share her learnings over the decades with aspiring models, which will assist them in navigating this competitive industry with the correct approach and confidence. "I've always wanted to share. I believe I've always said in my interviews... that there was never any type of lesson or book on our business."
The 52-year-old star added, "And I like mentoring. So it's just an extension of mentoring." Campbell also wishes to use this platform to open up people’s restricted perception when it comes to the modelling industry, and give them a taste of ‘reality.’ "It's not like they think it is. We work hard as fashion models and what we do. Our bodies take it quite hard too. But it's like an art form,” explains modeling legend. The supermodel who became a mother to daughter, Nile, in May 2021 further said it was about giving back and the sole reason she decided to the MasterClass, "I'm very happy now in my life. It's time to give back and to share. We'll just wait and see what time brings. I'm now in the place where I want to open and share a lot of things that I never did before. So this is one of the first."
