Chris has been struggling to walk freely because of his deformed feet and now it has reached a point where he wants to walk comfortably.  Chris revealed that his deformed foot has caused him a lot of pain and it has made it hard for him to even take a step without feeling pain. Even though he tries to wear comfortable shoes, the pain is unavoidable.

Chris decided to meet Dr Brad Schaeffer and consult him about what could be done. Dr Schaeffer realized that it was a benign growth near his big toe. To make things worse, his big toe was falling over his second toe, which happened to be the main reason for the pain that he was going through.

However, Dr Schaeffer knew that he could solve Chris's problem if he underwent surgery. Chris agreed but was nervous about how things would go. Before going on with the surgery, Dr Schaeffer explained that he would have to shift the joint to make sure that his toe aligned with the rest of the toes.

He wanted Chris to have feet where all the toes were aligned properly and were straight. However, to make this happen, he knew that he would have to insert a plate and some screws to make sure that all the bones and joint stand in the place like they are supposed to. Once the surgery began, Dr Schaeffer positive about how it would turn out.

As he proceeded to have a look at the benign he realized that it was one of the biggest benign that he had ever since. Despite this, he knew it was important to get rid of the extra bone to give Chris a toe that did not look deformed.

Once he was done removing the bone, he cut the top layer of the second toe to shift it into the correct place. it was important to do this because Chris complained about feeling pain. Dr Schaeffer thought that this would make him walk freely and the pain would not be a problem.

Once Dr Schaeffer was done aligning the toes back to their correct position, he was pleased with the results and was certain that Chris would not be feeling uncomfortable anymore. After a couple of weeks. Chris returned for a checkup and Dr Schaeffer was happy to see how his feet looked.

'My Feet Are Killing Me' airs on Thursdays at 10 pm ET on TLC.
