Tame Impala frontman Kevin Parker is keeping fans up to date during the coronavirus lockdown. On Saturday night (April 25) the Australian singer-songwriter took to the 'Music From The Home Front' virtual concert to perform 'On Track'. The song is from his fourth album 'The Slow Rush', which released on February 14.

'Music From The Home Front' pays tribute to the Anzacs and frontline workers fighting tirelessly against the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. The show is promoted by Michael Gudinski and Saturday's show included appearances by Tones And I, James Reyne, Mark Seymour and over 50 other stars from Australia and New Zealand.

The performance comes at a time when Tame Impala was scheduled for a worldwide tour this 2020, but dates have been postponed to September, according to their official website. As the renowned musician that he is, Parker couldn't let fans go without hearing some epic music.

"But strictly speaking, I'm still on track. Strictly speaking, I'm holding on. More than a minor setback. But strictly speaking, I'm still on track," Parker sings in the chorus of the acoustic guitar-rendered performance as he chilled on his sofa.

The scaled-down performance is notably more intimate than the richly produced and electrically-charged original release. Many fans appreciated the musical efforts to support those battling against the coronavirus on Twitter.

"This is awesome," a fan said before thanking frontline workers while another fan said, "#A huge shout out to all the Frontline workers who are working tirelessly to keep us safe. Absolutely loving this, very emotional also xoxo."

One fan wrote, "Whole reason I watched this. Worth the wait." Fans also let out a few tears during the performance, saying, "U made me cry!" and "Yessssss, literally the best, an acoustic guitar!!!! I cried." One fan added, "...and a good song choice."

'Music From The Home Front' aired on the Nine Network in Australia and won the ratings battle for the night, thanks to performances from Parker, The Wiggles, Tones And I, Courtney Barnett and many others.
