'Ms Marvel' Fan Review: 'Episode 5 was like watching a Pakistani movie!'

‘Ms Marvel’ finally premiered with a bang globally in June at Disney+. The series has been adapted for screen from the iconic Marvel Comics character of Kamala Khan/Ms Marvel. The makers have been slowly releasing episodes from June till now, and it’s safe to say that ‘Ms Marvel’ has become a fan favorite across the globe. Fans have given rave reviews for the brilliant performances by the star cast and amazing representation of Pakistani culture, especially in the fifth episode. The series is also a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The series has been written and created by Bisha K Ali. Produced by Marvel Studios, the series has been helmed by Adil El Farbi and Bilall Fallah. Kevin Feige and Bisha K Ali serve as executive producer of the series.
The storyline in the first five episodes has been about American-Pakistani teenage girl Kamala Khan, who is initially very clumsy and rebellious, finally coming into her own as female superhero Ms Marvel aka Night Light; she saves residents in New Jersey from mishaps and becomes the talk of the town. But this journey is not really easy, as amidst all this there's her family who are way too protective of her, especially her mother Muneeba, who always disregards Kamala’s love for the Marvel world and the superheroes fantasy realm because she feels it is very childish.

Although way too abrupt an ending,” said another fan. “@MehwishHayat in episode 5 of @msmarvel is everything I was hoping for! Amazing acting and ufff the last scene I cried. More power to you #MsMarvel #MarvelStudios,” added another fan.

I absolutely loved the full circle moment. It was very poetic,” added another one. “#MsMarvel Episode: 5 was a lot more emotional then I thought it was gonna be. I’m super excited for the finale and this show imo is one of the best MCU Shows alongside #WandaVision & #Loki,” a fan wrote. “#MsMarvel episode 5 is my favourite episode so far. Love the scenes centred on young Aisha. What a coincidence I thought about the meaning of my name yesterday! She who lives and Aisha had indeed lived life,” added another user.
