Was MrBeast arrested for tax evasion?

A Twitter account named ‘Kira’, which has over 1 million followers, recently published several dubious photos. Multiple pictures of MrBeast seeming to be arrested were included in their post. While the user wonders if the YouTuber was detained for ‘tax evasion’ or not, the actual cause was less nefarious.

He tweeted, “LMAOOO MR BEAST GOT ARRESTED FOR TAX EVASION????” Another user commented on the thread, "They locked up the beast" whereas another user said, "good, keep that thug off the streets."

The truth behind MrBeast’s arrest

It has come to light that Airrack orchestrated the entire scenario in conjunction with law enforcement, who agreed to arrest MrBeast in his South Carolina hometown of Greenville as a sort of practical joke. Airrack even posted a video of the content creator of the year being led to a police car on social media to boast about the prank's success. Here is the reason the cops detained MrBeast.

Longtime pals MrBeast and Airrack have collaborated on several projects throughout the course of their successful YouTube careers. The latter received his third straight title of Content Creator of the Year at the Streamy Awards last year, which the former even hosted. MrBeast is perhaps one of the most well-known online personas today after becoming the platform's most subscribed content producer and having his movies go viral on the internet almost instantaneously. However, it looks that Airrack's joke on him was a kind of retaliation.
