Former professional kickboxer Andrew Tate has been involved in a number of online disputes. Netizens are split into two groups as a result of his controversial opinions and feuds. While one backs the contentious social media influencer, the other rejects Tate's claims.

Because of his statements, he frequently remains in the news. Tate, though, recently made headlines for a few other reasons. The 36-year-old was the target of a Twitter joke. He instantly replied to it with a tweet of his own, as it didn't sit well with him.

The death hoax

Recently, news of Tate's death was reported by the spoof news account Sus News on Twitter. According to the page's tweet, Tate was supposedly slain in a conflict with none other than well-known American YouTuber James Charles.

James Charles, a YouTuber and American makeup artist, is 24 years old. Along with almost 23 million YouTube subscribers, he has more than 21 million followers on Instagram.

The parody news account claimed that Tate was found with makeup on, however, it is unclear why Sus News used Charles name in connection with it.

Tate went to Twitter after seeing the article to voice his outrage at the slimy ruse. He also sternly cautioned people about the dangers of negativity. “I dont think jokes about my death are very funny. Especially with enemies like mine. You should be careful the negativity you put into the universe, negativity sticks to anybody who spreads it,” Tate tweeted, as per thesportsrush.com.

The truth about Tate's cancer

Last year, Tate and his brother Tristan were taken into custody on allegations of money laundering and human trafficking. He was an inmate in a jail in Romania. During that time, there were reports that Tate had lung cancer and that the harsh circumstances in jail were harming his health.

But it wasn't true. Despite the Tate brothers' suffering while they were inside, Tate did not have cancer. His management spoke about the issue on social media as well. But it was discovered that the 36-year-old had a lung infection that was curable. The brothers are presently under house arrest after being released from jail. Their problems therefore seem to be far from over.
