By now 'Motherland: Fort Salem' fans will be asking the same question Raelle (Taylor Hickson) does by the end of Episode 5 that saw some heightened action in the form of a Spree vs Witches face-off.

Abigail (Ashley Nicole Williams) and Petra Bellweather (Catherine Lough Haggquist) take on two members of the Spree after seeing  Charvell dead in a bathtub. What happened to Scylla?

The promos and sneak peek of Episode 6 titled 'Up is Down' deal with the aftermath of the diabolical and bloody war and it is presumed that Scylla (Amalia Holm) was one of the casualties of the attack and is dead.

This breaks Raelle, however, there seems to be a plot that sees her interact with a mysterious being, presumably in search of her answers to finding Scylla. You can watch the promo below:

The promo also hints at Abigail and Tally Craver (Jessica Sutton) going through their own phases of trauma. If it was the near-death experience with the Spree for the Bellweather, Tally nurses a heartbreak and is still reeling from the attack by the Spree.

It is easy to deduce Tally is the one most affected considering she's the softer of the other two in the unit. As far as Scylla's death is concerned, the character may return and the giveaway comes in the form of IMDb's cast list that has listed Holm for ten episodes.

For now, it does look like Scylla is indeed done, especially after failing in her attempts to bring Raelle to the Spree. At this moment, there is still that million-dollar question of what they need Raelle for.

The official synopsis of the episodes reads: "Abigail has to come to terms with her vulnerability in the aftermath of horrific events; Tally struggles with being supportive while also keeping a secret from her unit; Raelle takes extreme measures to connect with Scylla."

There were enough fan theories in the comments section of the show's YouTube channel. One fan theorized it might have been Anacostia (Demetria McKinney) who could have actually kept Scylla hidden, probably to save Raelle from the imminent dangers that lie ahead.

Only time will tell if this theory holds true. 'Motherland: Fort Salem' airs at 9 pm ET on Freeform.
