'Moon Knight' is a forthcoming American television miniseries based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Jeremy Slater for Disney+. It is set to be Marvel Studios' sixth television series inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and will follow in the footsteps of the franchise's films.

The official synopsis is as follows: "Moon Knight follows Steven Grant, a mild-mannered gift-shop employee, who becomes plagued with blackouts and memories of another life. Steven discovers he has dissociative identity disorder and shares a body with mercenary Marc Spector. As Steven/Marc's enemies converge upon them, they must navigate their complex identities while thrust into a deadly mystery among the powerful gods of Egypt." Oscar Isaac plays Marc Spector/Moon Knight, with Ethan Hawke and May Calamawy in supporting roles. Oscar Isaac

Oscar Isaac Hernández Estrada was born in Guatemala City. He has two siblings: a younger brother, journalist Mike Hernandez, and an elder sister, climate scientist Nicole Hernandez Hammer. Isaac's family immigrated to the United States when he was five months old. They moved about a lot, including Washington, D.C., Virginia, Louisiana, Maryland, and other locations in Florida, including Miami, where they eventually settled. His Evangelical upbringing has been described as "very Christian." He's also claimed to have French ancestors through his grandfather and has described himself as "definitely a big mix of many things," while being regarded as a noteworthy French Guatemalan. Before becoming an actor, he was a member of the Blinking Underdogs, a band in which he played lead guitar and performed vocals. In 2005, he graduated from the Juilliard School.

Isaac made his acting debut as a pool boy in the 1996 crime drama Illtown. His first significant role came in 'The Nativity Story,' in which he played Joseph. He also appeared in the films 'All About the Benjamins' and 'Guerrilla,' a biopic about Che Guevara. He has also starred in the television series 'Law & Order: Criminal Intent', in addition to his movie roles. His other major credits include the films 'The Life Before Her Eyes' (2007), 'Body of Lies' (2008), alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe; 'Agora' (2009), alongside Rachel Weisz; and 'Balibo' (2009), in which he played José Ramos-Horta, former president of East Timor, set during the Indonesian invasion of East Timor in 1975. He won the Australian Film Institute Award for Best Supporting Actor for the latter role.

He's also recognized for his work on television, including the HBO miniseries 'Show Me a Hero' and 'Scenes from a Marriage,' both of which got him Golden Globe nominations for Best Actor – Miniseries or Television Film, with Isaac winning the first one. According to the sources, Oscar Isaac's net worth is estimated to be $15 million as of March 2022.

Ethan Hawke

Ethan Green Hawke is a screenwriter, actor, author, filmmaker, and singer. He has received four Academy Award nominations as well as a Tony Award nomination. Hawke's filmography includes feature films, three off-Broadway plays, and a documentary. He's also the author of three books and a graphic novel. He made his cinematic debut in the science fiction picture 'Explorers' in 1985, before breaking out with the drama 'Dead Poets Society' in 1989. He acted in several films before landing a leading role in the Generation X movie 'Reality Bites' in 1994, for which he gained critical acclaim. Hawke and Julie Delpy co-starred in Richard Linklater's 'Before' trilogy: 'Before Sunrise', 'Before Sunset', and 'Before Midnight'.

May Calamawy is an Egyptian-Palestinian actress. She graduated from Emerson College with a bachelor's degree in acting and continued her education at William Esper. She is best known for her roles in 'Ramy,' National Geographic's 'The Long Road Home,' CBS' 'FBI' and 'Madame Secretary,' and NBC's 'The Brave.'
