‘Modern Family’ Season 11 Episode 9 teaser: ‘The Last Christmas’ explores the usual mishaps and a whole lot of drama
Not a single year has gone by without us getting to witness the drama unfold in the lives of the members of ‘Modern Family’, especially during the festive season. Similarly, this year as well, with Christmas just around the corner, the Pritchett-Dunphy-Tucker families are preparing themselves for yet another memorable ride. As three generations of the contemporary family come together to celebrate their last Christmas on-screen, here’s what episode 9 of ‘Modern Family’ season 11 has teased us with.
Although Thanksgiving is meant to express gratitude for all the blessings in our lives, in ‘The Last Thanksgiving’, the members of ‘Modern Family’ didn’t seem to be content or thankful. While the children experienced the usual mishap while trying to organize a perfect supper for the newly-extended family, the older members were held up by their own unsolved issues.
Nevertheless, despite the circumstances trying to thwart the family gathering, we saw our beloved characters spend the holiday with each other. In the upcoming episode, however, we might get to see new troubles when Christmas puts the families to the test as their selfishness begins to manifest itself through a myriad of emotions.
Cameron has always derived pleasure from having things his way. In ‘The Last Christmas’, Mitchell learns that his husband is hell-bent on keeping everyone happy during the holiday to serve his ulterior motive. Can Mitch overlook Cam’s drama one more time? Or will we get to see him snap, considering how rocky the relationship between the two has been lately?
Meanwhile, Claire is offered a job at Jay’s newly-found dog bed company. But she isn’t too keen on going back to working with her father. It remains to be seen how Jay will react to Claire’s approach towards his new baby.
