Miss Bumbum claims Gerard Pique asked for ‘size of her derriere’ while he was with Shakira
BARCELONA, SPAIN: It seems controversies will keep dogging Shakira’s ex, Gerard Pique. After splitting from the ‘Queen of Latin Music,’ the Spanish football player went on to date Clara Chía Martí. But it has been said that their romance is not sailing on smooth waters. He is also fighting a vicious custody battle for his sons, Milan and Sasha, both of whom he had with Shakira.
Now, in the latest blow, Pique has been accused of sending inappropriate messages to Brazilian model Suzy Cortez. Miss BumBum claimed that the 36-year-old began sending DMs to her Instagram while he was still with Shakira. Marca quoted her saying, “I was friends with the former president of Barcelona, Sandro Rosell. When Pique found out, he asked for my phone number and sent me a message.”

She continued, “Later, once I was back in Brazil, he even slid into my Instagram DMs, inquiring about my return to Europe and, rather inappropriately, asking about the size of my derrière.” Cortez also reasoned why she did not speak up earlier about the footballer's behavior.
The Playboy model noted, “Out of respect for Shakira, I chose not to speak about this before. But now, I'm going to share everything I know and what I went through. He sent me explicit photos, although I refrained from opening them. He even went as far as offering me a private jet to fly me from London. I believe such actions are highly disrespectful, and Shakira certainly didn't deserve this.”
“He was the one initiating direct messages. The only Barcelona players who have never approached me inappropriately were Messi and Coutinho. They are outstanding husbands and deeply respect their wives,” Cortez added.
‘It’s been tough not only for me but also for my kids’
Shakira and Pique were together for over a decade while welcoming two children. However, shockingly in June last year, the pair broke up. In a joint statement, they said, “We regret to confirm that we are separating. For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy.”
Later, in an interview with Elle, the ‘Whenever, Wherever’ singer shared, “This is really hard to talk about personally, especially as this is the first time I’ve ever addressed this situation in an interview. I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all. Um, and yeah, it’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation.”
Shakira went on to say, “And so it’s been tough not only for me but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult. I have paparazzi camping outside, in front of my house, 24/7. And there’s not a place where I can hide from them with my kids, except for my own house,” before adding, “I’ve tried to conceal the situation in front of my kids. I try to do it and to protect them because that’s my number one mission in life.”
