Suzy Cortez: Playboy model claims she was kicked out of Airbnb for being 'too hot'
Playboy model Suzy Cortez has claimed she was kicked out from an Airbnb home because of a "prejudiced" owner with "hot girl phobia" Cortez, a Brazilian beauty, reportedly spent over $1,000 on a rental unit on the site in January so she could visit family in So Paulo.
Cortez claimed, however, that she had only been at the house for less than 48 hours when the male host evicted her and threw her belongings in the trash because she was too attractive. She describes the incident as "persecuting" and compares it to a "horror movie". She has threatened to sue Airbnb but has yet to do so.

The model told Jam Press, "This is the biggest prejudice and nightmare I’ve ever lived. I am extremely embarrassed and psychologically shaken. A trip to see my parents turned into a horror movie."
The host, according to Cortez, grumbled about her attire, especially a pair of workout leggings, before canceling her reservation on the second day. "From the second day I started to receive complaints about my gym clothes, which by the way were leggings," Cortez stated. "The host simply said that I would have to leave the apartment because it was inhabited by familiar people and not like me," she added.
The model received an email from Airbnb informing her that her reservation had been canceled because they "could not support" it. The host allegedly arrived by the rental later that day and began throwing out Cortez's belongings before she could leave.
"I was startled when the host entered the property I was in and took my belongings and threw them in the trash," Cortez said. "He only came in because I suffer persecution for being too pretty," Cortez stated that the host could not have ordered her out for any other reason. She said she did not cause any damage to the rental and that the only thing that was broken inside was "just the closet door, which was a super old furniture that fell."
Following her eviction, the Playboy model contacted the cops and returned to the flat with them to get her passport. Outside the house, she allegedly discovered more of her possessions piled into garbage bags. Amid the turmoil, the model also revealed that her Airbnb page had been temporarily erased.
"Even the police themselves thought it was absurd," Cortez stated. "I am now at total loss and psychologically shaken. Being me the victim of all this, why? Prejudice because I’m famous, or have been on the covers of Playboys all over the world?"
Cortez was kept informed throughout the ordeal by the company. "Despite the difficult time you went through, we genuinely appreciate what you have shared with us," a representative said at one point. "Considering what happened, we would like to provide you with a full refund." They also inquired as to whether Cortez's safety was in jeopardy, and stated that they would help with any investigation requested by the model. Cortez's profile on Airbnb was also restored. She has not yet consulted a lawyer despite threatening to sue the corporation.
