Grammy Award-winning American country singer and songwriter Miranda Lambert announced January 13 she is giving communities a chance to shine some spotlight on local first responders throughout her upcoming Wildcard Tour.

Radio listeners will be given a chance to nominate their choice of local first responder heroes to participating country stations in Phoenix, Arizona, Nashville, Tennessee, Ontario, California and more. You can see the full list below.

The selected honoree will receive two show tickets and meet and greets with Lambert. The Wildcard Tour will also be in support of the singer's seventh studio album, 'Wildcard', which released on November 1, 2019, according to Pitchfork.

The album features a cheerful take on exposing Lambert's heart-on-sleeve lyrics while "she reaches for another shot of tequila",  said Pitchfork. It features the hit tracks 'White Trash', 'It All Comes Out in the Wash' and 'Way Too Pretty for Prison' which featured country-pop star Maren Morris.

The singer commented, “I was really inspired by Kelly Ford, who honors a first responder every Friday on her show, and last November I got to nominate my husband, Brendan. I wanted to be able to spread that to every city we’re visiting on the Wildcard Tour, and say thank you to the brave men and women who keep those places safe. It’s been incredibly inspiring to hear stories of local heroes, and I’m honored to have them as our guests every night.”

A highly decorated artist in the history of the Academy of Country Music, Lambert is the recipient of more than 70 prestigious awards and special honors: 34 ACM Awards (including 9 ACM Female Vocalist of the Year Awards), 13 CMA Awards (Country Music Association), 2 Grammy Awards, the Harmony Award (Nashville Symphony), Artist in Residence (Country Music Hall of Fame), the ACM Gene Weed Milestone Award, ACM Song of the Decade Award, and was named 2019 RIAA’s Artist of the Year.

The Wildcard Tour will kick off on Friday, January 16, in Tupelo, Mississippi, with special guests American singer-songwriter Cody Johnson and country group LANCO.
