Michael Madsen in SHOCK over son Hudson's suicide, feels 'son was humiliated for seeking help'
Michael Madsen and his family have been incredibly overwhelmed with grief and sadness over the death of his son Hudson Madsen. Madsen wrote in a statement, “I am in shock as my son, whom I just spoke with a few days ago, said he was happy - my last text from him was ‘I love you dad’. I didn’t see any signs of depression. It’s so tragic and sad. I’m just trying to make sense of everything and understand what happened.”
Hudson Madsen, 26, had recently finished his first mission in the United States Army, where he was a sergeant stationed in Hawaii, and his father said that marriage “was going strong.” The 'Kill Bill' actor recalled, “He had typical life challenges that people have with finances, but he wanted a family. He was looking towards his future, so it's [sic] mind-blowing. I just can’t grasp what happened,” Hollywoodlife reports. The actor, 64, stated that he had requested a complete military investigation. He feels his son was humiliated by other senior officers for needing treatment which caused him to cease seeking care for mental health concerns he had previously kept hidden.
