AUSTIN, TEXAS: Michael J Fox had fans gushing over his new look as the 'Back To The Future' star sported fresh curls while attending the premiere of his autobiographical film with his wife, Tracy Pollan. The acclaimed actor has been a beacon of positivity ever since he was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease in 1991.
Fox's autobiographical film, 'Still: A Michael J. Fox Movie', recently premiered at the Southwest Film Festival (SXSW), where it was received excellently by the audience. Fans were glad to see the 61-year-old icon looking happy in sunglasses and messy hair. The actor opened up about the film, saying it was intended to offer an honest look at his life.

'Chicks dig the curls!'
Fox showed up to the premiere of his new film accompanied by his doting wife. The actor looked cool and casual as he sported wild, curly hair and wore a dark shirt with a white pattern coupled with a pair of jeans and Adidas sneakers. He completed the look with a pair of dark sunglasses and strutted around with his wife on his arm. Pollan, meanwhile, donned a stunning green-and-black pants suit. Moreover, it's worth noting that the couple has been together for a good 35 years and has faced countless obstacles together, per Amomama.
Fox shared a photo from the event on his Instagram, where fans fawned over his new look in the comments section. "Chicks dig the curls!" one commented. "OMg curly hair, Michael J. Fox is so cute! He simply doesn’t age!" another gushed. A fan added, "How can you look that cool!!" Further, someone wrote, "Looking Marty McFLY!" referencing Fox's 'Back to the Future' character. "Luv the new look MJF," another fan remarked.
'Pity is a benign form of abuse'
Fox opened up about his living with Parkinson's at SXSW, noting how the disease had prevented him from pursuing many things in life. However, he said he had no regrets about the life he has lived -- remaining positive in the face of illness and hoping to inspire others with his new film. The actor explained his philosophy of persisting through hardships in life.
"Pity is a benign form of abuse. I can feel sorry for myself, but I don't have time for that. There is stuff to be learned from this, so let's do that and move on," he said. "I can feel sorry for myself, but I don't have time for that," Fox reflected, adding that he hoped to show his fans how grateful he was for their unending support.
'We understand each other'
Fox was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at a young age. While he did not publicly disclose the diagnosis for a while, he did open up to his wife about it. Pollan took it in stride and decided to stick by her man regardless of how bad things might get. "We understand each other," the actor said.
He added, "And if you go through something like I am going through, just have someone that you are going to look at and know that they know [what you're dealing with]. She is my best friend and she is still sexy as hell as she is great." Fox and Pollan have four children together, namely, Sam, Esme, and twins Aquinnah and Schuyler.
