‘Absolute legends’: Fans lose it as Michael J Fox has heartwarming renuion with 'Back to the Future’ cast

PORTLAND, OREGON: It was a hell of a weekend not just for the cast members of 'Back to the Future’ but also for their fans, who went into a frenzy after seeing Michael J Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, and Tom Wilson together. The four stars were reportedly at the FAN EXPO Portland convention where they had a great time together.

Sharing a series of photos and clips from the reunion, Thompson wrote, “Wow honestly had the best time today with my #bttf family @realmikejfox @tomwilsonusa @mrchristopherlloyd and @jonathansfrakes @gates_mcfadden @jonathansfrakes @brentjspiner @startrekonpplus Bros. @fanexpoportland so many fun fan moments too and a llama.”

‘They are still the funniest guys’

The 61-year-old actress also posted about it on Twitter, writing, “Got to see my friends from #BTTF it was so nice. They are still the funniest guys I know. What a blessing. @DocBrownLloyd @realmikefox @TomWilsonUSA it's like they made a Time Machine out of a comic con @fanexpoportland.”

Wilson posted a selfie with his co-stars and simply captioned it as “Okay, so this happened. 2023.” Fox and Lloyd, however, posted about the reunion on their respective Instagram Stories.

Meanwhile, the reunion of the cast soon went viral online with a fan tweeting, “Wow All of you together how amazing is that xx.” A second fan wrote, “I’m actually very very proud to say I actually have the Back To The Future trilogy on Dvd in my part of the World Australia aka the land down under!!!!”

A third one shared, “They’re the best folks a person can have in a family, Lea Thompson!” “My heart stopped, this is a beautiful magical moment,” a fourth fan stated while a fifth commented, “I love Back to the Future, an extraordinary trilogy. Greetings from Venezuela Lea.”

There were numerous comments on the stars’ social media posts with a user writing below Wilson’s post, “Absolute legends. I wish Crispin Glover stayed on for all three movies.” Another one said, “You all are the best! I must say tank to you all if I decided to become an actor and a screenplayer (despite I’m Italian and to be an artist in Italy now day is a real nightmare). And you, Tom, I think you are one of the greatest actor of all time, your job in this trilogy is something really A M A Z I N G, in particular for a you actor as you were. Love for you all!!!”

“‘Hello?? Anybody home??’ you guys were a huge part of my childhood, my parents would make us watch the three movies back to back during weekends, we loved it so much,” a person mentioned below Thompson’s post while another added, “I never thought I would ever see the BTTF cast in person made my millennium.”
